Dreaming of Warmer Weather

Before I begin: let me make it very clear - it is currently 22 degrees outside and my day began by uncovering 6+ inches of snow from my car. Despite this decidedly wintery environment, I've had visions of spring in my head lately, most likely brought on by J Crew's Resort Collection catalog which arrived in the mail on Friday.

Consequently, when I stopped by DSW for a browse this morning I bypassed the boots and instead purchased these slip-on Ked's sneakers which I will not be able to "slip-on" my sockless feet for months. I just couldn't resist. They were 70% off and, therefore, only $9!!



I am picturing them with these J Crew summerweight Bermudas in bright tulip and a black polo. I know it won't make spring arrive any faster, but a girl can dream right??
