Yesterday was my father's birthday. He is easy to please - no fancy dinners for him - just out for delicious pizza and birthday cake at home.
Today, I chose to look on the bright side of my very frustrating job search and enjoy having free time in the day by going ice skating. When I was younger I was fairly serious about figure skating; I skated year-round and took private lessons. But in college I gradually tapered off, not having a rink easily accessible. In the past few months, however, I've been going to public skating just about every week for exercise and it's been nice to get back into it.
Tomorrow I'm going to see "He's Just Not that Into You." I've heard from a lot of people that they enjoyed it, so hopefully it will be good.
p.s. Flip flops are on sale at J Crew this weekend (in-stores only) - summer is coming!!
