Whoops!
At the end of January, one my favorite stationery stores closed and had a fantastic sale on all their greeting cards. Happily, I stocked up in advance on pretty bridal shower and wedding cards and stored them away in my stationery drawer. This morning I opened the drawer to get a card for the shower I'm attending this weekend . . . and found a birthday card I had bought at the sale for my dad. My dad's birthday was at the end of February and I bought him another card, completely forgetting about the one in my drawer. Whoops! Don't you hate when you are so proud of yourself for planning in advance and and then you forget all about it??

oh, man, I know exactly what you mean! you find the perfect thing and then, life gets crazy busy and... oops! now you have it for next time...again... :)
Oh no! I've done the same thing before. Hopefully you can save it for next year! P.S. i will have to check out this Easter egg plate you told me about!
I do this all the time! Ugh, it is very frustrating!
