My hairdryer went kaput this week. Any readers out there have a good recommendation for a new one? I have very thick hair that takes forever to dry, so I'm looking for a fast, powerful one.
P.S. I'm blogging from my Blackberry this morning,so please excuse me if this post looks strange!
P.P.S. Enjoy the first official weekend of summer! I'm headed to a Red Sox game after work tonight!

I have a Remington T-Studio (it's a dark pewter and pink color, from Target). My Conair dryers never last more than a year so I switched to this brand and it's excellent. I have super thick curly hair I dry straight and this is hot and strong enough to do the job. If you want high-end Beauty.com has 20% ending today.
The post looks fine.
Yay! Go Sox! Have a great time!
I always recommend a professional hair dryer over the drug store brands. They may cost you extra but they will last you years and are the only ones that have enough power. I use one by Cricket (can't remember which model) and I love it. It was about $60 which isn't too bad and definitely worth it.
My hair dresser recommended I check out the selection of hair dryers at TJ's and Marshalls when I needed a new one. I'm not sure of the brand but it works super well on my thick hair!
As of right now, I have to hold my blowdryer's cord in the air really really high to make it work, so I'm in the same boat as you! I read somewhere that some blowdryer {like around $60} at Sally Beauty is wonderful? I wish I could remember what it was....
Ahh! I found it - it was the Tool Science Ceramic Hair Dryer. Check it out!
Thank you all so much for your advice! I'm off to look for one today, hopefully.
