And that's it for tonight . . . just a very short post as American Idol and Glee (not to mention Lost) are all calling me!

A Hotel with a Sense of Humor?
I stayed at the Hotel Roger Williams during my weekend trip to New York City. My mother and I checked into our usual corner room Saturday around noon and found this post-it note on the bathroom mirror:
Apparently "Roger" wanted to buy us a drink in the hotel bar that night. How cute is that? I love a hotel with a sense of humor, don't you?! Definitely a quirky marketing plan and a fun way to give guests a little something extra.

Anytime I'm offered a free drink I'll take it, ha! I love the idea - how fun. Hotels are already so wonderful, I love that they went an extra little step to make it more special.
How fun! It's the extra little somethings that make places stand out.
P.S. I was SO happy to see Glee last night!!
We're with the Tutu on this one, the little stuff like this can really make a place standout in one's mind, too fun!
I'm glad you had such great shopping!

I thought you were going to show us a tv in the mirror! We stayed at the Charles Hotel last winter and they had the tv in the bathroom mirror. Did you go for the free drink?
Wow Kathy, a tv in the bathroom mirror - that is very cool!
We did go for the free drink, I had a très delicious mojito :)
